KinkMatch is 100% ad-free and your data is never used for marketing or shared with any company for commercial purposes. This policy explains exactly what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We never sell your data — ever.
KinkMatch ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the KinkMatch mobile application. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the app immediately.
KinkMatch makes the following unconditional promises to every user: 🚫 No Ads — Ever. KinkMatch is 100% ad-free. You will never see advertisements, sponsored content, or paid promotions inside this app. We do not accept advertising money and we never will. 🚫 No Marketing Use. Your data is never used for marketing purposes — not by us, not by any partner, not by anyone. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not use your preferences, behavior, or content to target you or anyone else with ads. 🚫 No Data Sales. We will never sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to any company, data broker, advertiser, or third party. Ever. 🚫 No Third-Party Marketing Sharing. Your information is never shared with any company for their marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes. The only third-party service that processes your data is Google Firebase (our database infrastructure), and they are strictly prohibited from using it for advertising. These are not just policy statements — they are core values of KinkMatch. This app exists to serve its users, not advertisers.
We collect information you voluntarily provide when registering or using KinkMatch, including: • Account Information: email address, encrypted password, date of birth (age verification), gender identity, and location (ZIP code / city). • Profile & Questionnaire Data: your preferences, interests, and answers to the KinkMatch compatibility questionnaire, including lifestyle and attraction preferences. • Messages & Communications: content of messages sent between matched users within the app. • Usage Data: how you interact with the app, features used, device information, OS, and IP address. • User-Generated Content: stories, blog posts, or other content you publish on the platform.
We use your information only to operate and improve KinkMatch for you. Specifically: • Create and manage your account • Match you with compatible users based on questionnaire answers • Display your profile to potential matches • Enable in-app messaging between matched users • Send notifications about matches, messages, and activity • Improve and personalize your app experience • Ensure platform safety and enforce community standards • Detect and prevent fraud, bots, and fake accounts • Comply with legal obligations • Respond to your support requests We never use your data to target you with ads, build marketing profiles, or generate revenue through your personal information in any way.
We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal information for marketing or commercial purposes. Period. • With Other Users: only the profile details you choose to display are visible to other users. You control this through your settings. • Google Firebase (Infrastructure Only): we use Firebase for authentication and database storage. Firebase processes data solely to run our app — they are contractually prohibited from using your data for advertising or any commercial purpose. • Legal Requirements: we may disclose your information only if required by a valid court order or law, or to protect someone's safety or prevent fraud. • Business Transfers: in the unlikely event of a merger or acquisition, we will notify you in advance. Any acquirer would be bound by the same no-marketing, no-data-sale commitments. We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data: • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) • Encrypted password storage via Firebase Authentication • Secure cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase) • Access controls limiting who can view user data No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you of any data breach as required by applicable law.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or needed to provide services. You may delete your account at any time through app settings, which initiates deletion of your profile data. Some information may be retained for a limited period after deletion where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

KinkMatch uses your ZIP code or city to show your general location to potential matches. We do not collect or store precise GPS coordinates. Your full address is never shared with other users.
KinkMatch is strictly for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we discover a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete all associated data. If you believe a minor has registered, report it immediately to reachus@kink-match.com. Providing false age information is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in permanent account termination.
KinkMatch uses the following third-party services with their own privacy policies: • Google Firebase: authentication, database, and hosting. See Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you within the app and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of KinkMatch after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
